Magical moments for a cause

Magical moments were created for local princes and princesses at the second annual Royal Princess Ball at the Viscount Gort on Sunday.

 

A total of 330 guests were treated to a gala feast fit for kings and queens at the event held to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.

Tickets were $100 each and the guests enjoyed dancing, performances and prizes while kids’ favourite fairy tale characters frolicked amongst them.

The event was organized by a group of social workers who are passionate about child protection. The funds will be allocated to the Child’s Protection Centre, a department within the Children’s Hospital that works with children and youth who have suffered abuse.
